Sensible InvenTeam: May Update

We’ve spent this month doing LOTS of research and development for Sensible and everyone has been working on the technical side of things. We’ve made advances in many aspects of the product and are so excited to share our work at EurekaFest!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We toured the Wilson College of Textiles at NC State University, an esteemed institution for textile engineering. We learned about how different fabrics are made, how finishes are applied, how textiles are tested for functionality, and so much more. This was an amazing opportunity to learn more about textiles and make connections with professionals in the industry. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We also took a tour of the labs at WakeMed Hospital. We toured the anatomic pathology, hematology, and microbiology labs at the hospital and gained a better understanding of how a lab works and how different substances are tested. 

We’ll be working hard this next month leading up to EurekaFest with finalizing technical details, fundraising, working on PR, and more. We can’t wait to meet everyone!
