The Battle Creek Area Math and Science Center InvenTeam has been developing the next iteration of the I.A.D.S. in the previous month. Recently, the flir infrared camera was integrated into the product, allowing detection from up to 400 ft, close to our ideal goal of 500 ft. Currently our engineering team is training a machine learning algorithm to detect deer. The newest camera we purchased has a sensing range of up to 6,500 feet. However we don’t know the accuracy at that range. Testing is scheduled to be set for after further development and design ratification. The media team is looking to broadcast our product further, with the marketing team designing our brochures, banners, etc. The sustainability team is looking towards gaining the license for the product, becoming state certified as well. Final edits are being made towards the presentation at Eurekafest. We can't wait to see everyone there!
