Hello all! Our team has some exciting news! This month we were able to get our design manufactured. After being connected with Eric Ostendorff, a mechanical engineer from Inventoy, we were able to meet with him a few times to discuss what we wanted for our design. Eric understood every detail we explained to him and within a week, we received a manufactured version of our product. We are so excited to showcase it at EurekaFest in a few weeks! We are so excited to say that we have two functioning models of our product Guard D-rink™; the model that Eric graciously sent to us and the one that we made. 

At e3 Civic High we have an invention showcase called Exhibition that is similar to EurekaFest. This was the perfect opportunity to present our pitch for our product! It was very refreshing to be able to talk to members of our community and e3 families for practice. Also, we had an opportunity drawing for families and staff to fundraise for our trip to Boston. We were able to do this with a gift certificate for a 2 night stay at the Pendry Hotel with added amenities. Congrats to our winner, Mr. Mayfield! 

As you all may know, inventors need breaks too! This month we took our senior trip to Disneyland to enjoy GradNite. We all had such an amazing time at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park. 

This has been such an amazing journey for us and we are so thankful for being chosen to experience this opportunity. It means the world to us. EurekaFest...here we come!
