We're Chicago State University! An InvenTeam located in the south side of Chicago, IL made up of high schoolers from all over the city ranging from ages 14-17. Over the past month we've been doing some trial and errors for our project. Let us get into more depth on that:

The two main branches of our project are gardening and engineering. For a lot of us, this is our first time being hands on with certain pieces of equipment! For the gardening portion of this project, which I LOVE, involves a lot of consistency, patience, and dedication. Who would've thought right?

But anyway, being a part of the garden team is a HUGE responsibility, believe it or not... Of course, we have some help from our mentor Sarah, who is actually from MIT! Since starting our project, each one of our team members takes our data and records it into our InvenTeam log book. The data that goes into the log book for the week also goes into a document online and it is sent to our mentor, Sarah. With the information that Sarah is given, she reaches out to us with feedback on our weekly report. We've done a lot of planting and replanting of all different kinds of vegetables. (This is what I was talking about when I mentioned our trials and errors. *COUGH, COUGH* many errors...) With all the feedback we have been given from our mentor, little by little, we have grown to make less mistakes and instead, becoming better and better.
