The ASK Academy InvenTeam invented Emergency Medical Advanced Response Apparatus (EMARA), a device designed to streamline communication between EMT and treatment centers. The device measures an emergency patient’s blood pressure, temperature, blood oxygen level, and heart rate in real-time through a wrist-worn, sterilizable sensor package. The data is transmitted to a first responder’s device via RFID and, when signal availability permits, to a web server. Hospital staff can monitor the patient’s vitals during transmit via web app.
