The LEARN Science & Math Club InvenTeam invented "Script Alert", a life-saving, drug-tracking system that helps people on complex drug regimens avoid serious injury and death due to medication dosing errors. It uses scanning technology, a cloud-based database, a Web application, and a network of smart tablets, smart phones, and computers to help people remember to take the right medicines at the right time and in the right amounts. It can also notify designated caregivers of the patient's medication compliance. The "Script Alert" system will cost approximately $30 per year for the Web application and $150 for the read and display device.
