Welcome to Our Group

We are the Edward C. Reed High School InvenTeam. We are a group of dedicated students on a mission to make this world a better place. Our job is to greatly reduce the pollution in our lakes and rivers by creating a device to get cigarette butts out of storm drains which flow to our rivers and then enter into Pyramid Lake which is a terminal lake. This means that there is no outlet to the water in Pyramid Lake. All the pollution that enters Pyramid Lake never leaves. What’s even worse is that there are endangered species at Pyramid Lake, such as the Cui-ui. The pollution in Pyramid Lake is destroying the environment of the Cui-ui and other native species.
