Meeting with Congresswoman Mimi Walters

The Tustin High School Inventeam was honored to have met with California's 45th congressional district U.S. representative Mimi Walters for a quick tour of our T-Tech Acedemy shop as well as showcase our gum removal machine. 

In our T-Tech shop, we prepared for her arrival by putting up trifolds about our product and explained our three components of heating, chemical and abrasion. Then we walked her around outside our shop to see the hundreds of gum litter stuck to the cement. She was baffled to hear we counted over 30,000 gum litter throughout the school. 

The team is very honored and grateful to also be given a recognition award by the U.S. House of Representatives and we will continue to work hard in finishing our project.
