The Diaries of the Possible
As we are coming to the end of our project, our SBHEM-InvenTeam recently had the privilege of presenting our project at a CTE showcase with our LAUSD district. Added to this, our efforts in our project were recognized by Congresswoman Monica Rodriguez, a respected representative from our community. Congresswoman Rodriguez commended each member of the team for their ingenuity and commitment to making a positive impact. She presented us with certificates of recognition, highlighting our achievements and emphasizing the importance of fostering young inventors. The recognition strengthened our resolve to make a meaningful difference in the world and our CTE showcase hopefully encouraged other young inventors to embrace our passion for innovation, pursue technical education, and believe in the transformative power of our ideas.
We are indebted to Motivo Engineering from Long Beach, who played an instrumental role in helping us finalize our invention. Their expertise, guidance, and support were invaluable throughout the development process. Their dedication to our success exemplifies the spirit of collaboration and mentorship that fuels innovation. Also, we would not want to forget about our ever-reliable MIT fellow coach for invention education; Mike Carter who has been our support since the beginning of our invention. Lastly, we are so thankful for all the support we have received from all of our sponsors and contributors.
A turning point in our Lemelson-MIT InvenTeam adventure was the CTE display with our district and the praise we earned from our local officials and the support from different companies. It served as a potent reminder of our effort's effect on our neighborhood's community and influential people. The help we have gotten has also been tremendous. We were inspired and encouraged by the experience to keep pursuing innovation because we could see the tangible results of our work
