April update from your Gasbusters!
Hey, Gasbusters fans! We hope you guys are having a nice spring and enjoying the warmer weather! Although spring break is soon, we haven’t taken a break when it comes to prepping for EurekaFest and we are so excited for June. We’ve had such a fun month when it comes to prepping for Eurekafest and getting our project finalized. We hope that it is just as amazing as our Mid Grant Tech Review was! We are so grateful for the continued support we have received from our community and teachers who have gotten us to where we are right now.
Our preparations for EurekaFest have kept us busy, and we're eagerly anticipating the opportunity to showcase our progress over the past year. If you want to follow along, make sure to follow our socials so you don’t miss anything!
This month has been filled with a lot of planning and hard work for all of the teams working hard against the clock to make sure we are ready for June. The technical team has been busy at work making sure our prototype is show-ready and working to help us with our mission. We have been placing a lot of orders with the help of our dedicated financial team, and the technical team has also been working hard with our school’s engineering teacher to perfect their build with the materials that have arrived. Along with the sustainability team, they have been able to finish their build and move on to the testing phase with methane and nitrogen dioxide, hoping to test it in Georgia Tech. We are so proud of them and their hard work in getting us where we are today. Go Tech Team! Our new member, Billy the sump digester, has also glammed up his looks with a new flexible pipe hairdo to collect methane, as installed by our tech and sustainability teams. We are so proud of everyone's hard work when it comes to building the invention.
On the communications side, we have been doing lots of research and calling and looking for people to help spread our mission across our community. We have been working hard to stay in touch with people just as passionate as us to spread our mission and reach our goals. We’ve been working hard forming connections that will help us get to EurekaFest! We’ve also been working with our school to help us support our mission to our school and the local community. We’ve also been frequently updating our social media as well as making a LinkedIn page to help us spread our mission to more people. We’ve had over 2000 impressions and hope to spread our message to even more people with the power of social media marketing. We are so glad that we have gained so much support for our cause and cannot wait to give back to our supportive community through our invention!
We have also been very busy this month planning for our trip to MIT, making sure we are fully prepared for our stay. We are so excited that we have booked our tickets and are counting the days until we make our big trip! Please support our journey through our gofundme! Stay tuned for more updates and exciting news as we get closer to EurekaFest! And remember, every effort counts in the journey towards making a positive impact on our planet. Thank you to everyone who has supported us on this incredible journey!
Lastly, as we gear up for EurekaFest, we also look ahead to future opportunities and collaborations. Our team is constantly brainstorming new ideas and strategies to expand our project's reach and effectiveness. We're exploring potential partnerships with other environmental organizations and researching additional funding sources to sustain our initiative beyond the competition. With the enthusiasm and dedication of our team members, mentors, and supporters, we're confident that we can make a lasting difference in combating climate change. Together, we're turning challenges into opportunities and paving the way for a greener, more sustainable future!
