After the Review

With a new perspective on the project after the mid-grant technical review, we have taken to redesigning and improving upon different aspects of our product design. Max and Brendan, pictured left, are currently working to reshape and insulate the bell of the stethoscope to reduce excess feedback from the microphone. Above Max and Brendan are a series of diagrams detailing the reengineered anatomy of the UV Carrying Case. In addition to this, the team has also started to develop audio processing software for the stethoscope; our plan is to eventually cancel out most or all excess noise other than the heartbeat of the patient. We are excited to attend EurekaFest in June and show everyone a well-developed product!
