2/1/23 January Oswego East InvenTeam Progress Update

What has the team been up to?

The team has been focused on ensuring our prototype functions properly. Our sensors including temperature and pH have been working well. The data from these sensors is collected and analyzed for improvements.  The LED growth lights have been integrated and their effects are being monitored. A batch of bioplastic has successfully been made and is ready to be used to design products. The team came across a few issues with our previous design, but after brainstorming, research, and expert assistance we have improved the design and are on track to present our prototype at the Midgrant Review. Email invitations have been sent out for the Midgrant review. We have been making preparations including visuals, displays, and refreshments to ensure the success of our presentation. 

What do we hope to accomplish in the upcoming weeks?

We hope the Mid-grant review goes as planned as the team has been working tediously on those preparations. We also plan on submitting the patent application as soon as possible.
