Traditionally, the chemical industry has used heat as a means to power chemical processes. Daniela Blanco figured by replacing heat with electricity in this instance we could produce far less carbon emissions. She created Sunthetics, a system which uses electrolyte composition, pulsed electrolysis, and machine learning algorithms to electrify chemical processes, improving efficiency and lowering carbon emissions.
