Get Soaked at Winter Family Day

Don’t be a drip ­— join the fun at the Winter Family Day drop-in event on Feb. 25 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Located at the Kendall/MIT Open Space, 292 Main Street, Cambridge. Lemelson-MIT is teaming up with the MIT Civil and Environmental Engineering Department for this activity where kids will build a phytoplankter using beads, pipe cleaners, paper clips, foam, and other elements. When done, they can test the sinking speed in a small test tank filled with water.
