Online Event

The Lemelson-MIT Program and Braham High School are hosting a virtual Mid-Grant Technical Review (MGTR) event to showcase the school’s InvenTeam which is one of this year’s 13 InvenTeam grant recipients. The MGTR is a community event that provides students an opportunity to present the technicalities of their invention and receive feedback from community members with technical and subject matter expertise. The students apply what they learn to continue building their invention in anticipation of our annual EurekaFest event in June when they showcase their final working prototype to the MIT community. These community events have been held in-person at the schools, but due to COVID-19 will be held entirely online.

Join us for the MGTR event that supports local high school inventors and cultivates a culture of invention in the community.

Agenda:

  • Introduction by Lemelson-MIT
  • InvenTeam project overview
  • InvenTeam small group presentation and feedback

Who should attend:
School administration, school board members, elected officials, community civic groups, educators, inventors, engineers, MIT alumni, high school students, and others who want to support students’ STEM educational experiences through inventing solutions to real-world problems.
