Brian Lombardo is a Communications Administrator who brings a creative, forward-thinking approach to communication, relationship building, and problem solving. He is passionate about finding new ways to connect people, ideas, and opportunities while delivering thoughtful, high-quality work that creates meaningful impact. Always eager to take on new challenges, Brian thrives in fast-paced environments where collaboration and innovation lead to positive results.

Brian joined Lemelson-MIT as an Administrative Assistant and quickly demonstrated a strong ability to build relationships, communicate effectively, and approach challenges with creativity and purpose. His passion for meaningful engagement and thoughtful problem-solving led to a promotion to the communications team, where he further developed his skills in audience engagement, strategic communication, and community building. Now serving as Communications Administrator, Brian brings a versatile and continually growing skill set to help lead regional efforts and advance Invention Education in meaningful ways.

In his current role, Brian helps lead initiatives across the Massachusetts region with a focus on community engagement and strengthening partnerships that enhance students’ learning experiences. Acting as a true connector, he takes pride in bringing together exceptional partners and communities to create opportunities that support and inspire the next generation of inventors and problem solvers.

Brian believes the best way to learn is by doing, and that invention education provides an opportunity for students to explore, create, and discover through experiential learning.
