Pesticides are often an integral part of the agriculture industry. However, this spray rarely reaches its intended target. The majority of pesticide spray droplets end up in the soil or ground water, creating a high risk of pesticide poisoning.
Plants repel these droplets because they are hydrophobic. To combat this issue, Maher invented a spray which uses electrically charged polymers to enhance liquid retention.
