The Pingree InvenTeam is Underway

The Pingree Lemelson Team is hitting the ground running as we work on creating our pedal extender. We met with Anthony Perry from the Lemelson-MIT program a few weeks ago and have been working on setting the groundwork for our project since then. Our arduino team is in full-swing and has been hard at work on our program for the pedal's adjustment feature. Just yesterday on Monday, November 21st, our scavenging team headed out to a junkyard and, though, they didn't get any brake pedals this time, they learned some valuable lessons about what tools to bring next time! We recently recieved our InvenTeam debit card and our financial team has placed their first order to Amazon. This is a very exciting time for all of us on the Pingree School Lemelson-MIT InvenTeam. We can’t wait to see where this experience will bring us!
