Hello, world!

Last weekend, we were invited to kick off the 2016 Global Spark!Lab Invent It Challenge. Pictures below! We were so fortunate to have the opportunity to be interviewed by Susannah Fox, Chief Technology Officer of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Special thanks to Ms. Tricia Edwards for accommodating us this event, and thanks for everyone who came. We hope that we helped other people learn more about our project and modern medical technology. It was definitely an excellent learning experience for us, and certainly a fun one, too.

Additionally, we have reserved a spot for our mid-grant review session on February 24th, to be held at our school, Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. We’re ready to receive feedback!

Unfortunately, with a massive snowstorm coming our way (estimated 2 feet of accumulation… yikes), we haven’t been able to meet this week, and we will not be able to work on our project for several days until the snow clears up.

We’ll keep you all updated as we head into our school year’s second semester.

The TJHSST InvenTeam,
Ms. Ria Galanos, Bijal, Bill, Dhriti, Gabriel, Jonathan, Junyoung, Lavanya
