Spurred by the Labor Day fires in Steiner Ranch three years ago, the HCEF InvenTeam decided to come up with an idea that would help make our community firefighters jobs just a little bit easier.  Our first idea was a wild firefighter robot that could get closer to wild fires than man could.  We also came up with other ideas like: a fire drone spy, a path clearing robot, and a room saving box for fires. We talked with local firefighters and asked what they thought of our ideas and what they thought needed to be improved that could help them in the field of fighting fires.   The biggest problem they said they have is preventing the hose from kinking around door ways and corners.  We decided to embrace this, and create a simple device to keep these heroes fighting fires, not unkinking hoses.
