Coffee pod recycler
Energy and Environment
The Bridgewater-Raynham Regional High School InvenTeam invented a device that separates and stores the materials of single-serve coffee pods, allowing proper recycling and composting. The device manually separates the pods into constituent materials using a specialized removal system. The user can disassemble one used coffee-pod in less than five seconds and store up to ten disassembled pods in the device. It is small, safe to use and easy to mount on a wall or stand alone on a counter. The cost for a consumer to purchase the coffee-pod recycler will be around $20. Watch their 2014 EurekaFest Video
