It has only been 60 days since the first case of COVID 19 hit New York, but as we yearn for the lively New York City that we know and love from inside our apartments, this feels like an eternity. But our spirits are still high as we reach outside our windows, clapping and banging on pots and pans for hospital workers at 7pm. Not from where I live, people sit on their fire escapes to participate in a call and response song led by a man playing his drums.
Ms. Forman, our teacher and InvenTeam advisor, has brought the Baruch community together by making TikToks and music videos to make us smile. The senior class has taken to social media to celebrate college commitments.

As for the BCCHS InvenTeam, building has been put on pause, but the current sophomores and juniors will keep this project alive when they return in the fall. We are so sad that we are missing out on EurekaFest but the show must go on! We are currently building a website to present our invention. Each subteam is working on a page of the site. We will highlight the progress we already made and our plans for the future... Stay tuned!
