December 9th 2019:

The Stockbridge InvenTeam has made more progress on the Emperor Micro-Lander over the past few months. The team has worked hard and has many failures as well as successes. While we have made great progress on our micro-lander we have also had some honorable achievements. This includes a display at our capitol building, also a completed 1st prototype. Additionally, we have begun to develop a 2nd prototype and are working on improving it.

On December 4th, four of our team members were invited to represent our team at our State Capitol Building that hosted The Student Technology Showcase. While we were there our State Senator Curtis Hertel Jr. stopped by and we were able to demonstrate our micro-lander and tell him about our team’s achievements.

Below are four Cross Braining videos that explain our process of building the first Emperor Micro-Lander prototype. There are short clips that show the construction of the burn-wire release end cap, light mounting, camera mounting, and electronics mounting board.
