Awesome Time At EurekaFest!

EurekaFest has been one of the most amazing opportunities for our team this year. It was truly an honor to be able to see first-hand our invention being presented to the public and to the people of the STEM community. Being able to tour parts of what is considered to be one of the nation's top colleges made it feel like we were part of the atmosphere; after just two nights, our entire team knew how to get from place to place as if we have been there for months. Our team really enjoyed the chance that we had to participate in the "Duck and Hover" challenge as it gave us an opportunity to witness the thought process with our new team members. Although, we had a packed schedule where we celebrated our inventive spirit, it was nice to hear everyone's stories and how different each state is. For example, everyone from the Oklahoma team has cars and can drive whereas we, the team from NYC had no drivers license. What we really wished most for was to have an extra day to explore the city and bond with members from the other schools because the only chance we got to converse was as at the end of the day. Lastly, it would have been nice if we had a list of all the participants in case any of us wanted to further keep in contact with them after EurekaFest. Thank you Lemelson-MIT for an amazing week and treating us like VIPs!
