Kaitlyn Searl

Project and Program Coordinator

Kaitlyn is the Project and Program Coordinator at Lemelson-MIT, where she works closely with Executive Director Stephanie Couch to ensure programs and projects run efficiently and effectively. Known for her organization, adaptability, and collaborative approach, Kaitlyn brings a diverse background and a “jack of all trades” skill set to her role.

Before joining Lemelson-MIT, Kaitlyn served as a Project Coordinator at Boston University’s Wheelock College of Education & Human Development, supporting initiatives such as the National Center on Improving Literacy — a federally funded center dedicated to advancing K–12 literacy nationwide for almost 2 years. 

Kaitlyn is passionate about creating positive change and strengthening communities through education. She believes that everyone deserves access to quality learning opportunities and takes great pride in contributing to the meaningful work of Lemelson-MIT.

Outside of work, Kaitlyn enjoys staying active and spending time with family and friends. She loves trying new foods, traveling, and exploring the outdoors through hiking, biking, and canoeing.
