Alexa Bohanon

Alexa is a rising sophomore at MIT studying Computer Science and AI, with possible minors in neuroscience or music. Over IAP, Alexa worked on a CSAIL research project involving probabilistic programming, and she was also part of the Software subteam for the Human Technology Integration club. Beyond academics, Alexa plays guitar and sings with MIT LIVE. Alexa competes as a javelin thrower on MIT’s Varsity Track and Field team, where she placed second at the NEWMAC Conference Championship last season. Alexa is especially interested in projects that combine neuroscience, music, and technology. She is excited to grow as a researcher and explore a new domain as a Lemelson-MIT Fellow.
