June update from your Gasbusters!
Hey everyone! It’s the Gasbusters, and we’re here with our final blog post before signing out! We hope everyone is having a fantastic summer break and hydrating a lot to get over the warm weather. We certainly have! As we step into June and wrap up May, we’re on the home stretch, balancing the grind of our project with wrapping up school and gearing up for EurekaFest!
All of our teams have been working incredibly hard and collaborating. With the support of our amazing community of teachers and students, we’ve been able to maximize our resources and reach new heights. As we’re closing out this time together, we’ve continued showing our thanks to our supporters. We’re determined to finish strong before EurekaFest!
The past few weeks have been peak grind time. We’ve been working tirelessly across several fields, ensuring everything gets done to the best of our abilities. Our focus has been on multiple fronts to ensure that once we land, we’ll be more than ready to spread our mission and make the most of our time at EurekaFest! We all look forward to meeting the other teams at MIT, as well as the esteemed guests.
Our team has spent countless hours in the lab this month, gathering as much data as possible on our invention and its implications. We've been deeply involved in researching and testing, which has helped us understand our invention thoroughly and fix any flaws. We're excited to showcase our invention, and our lab work has paid off, culminating in our final research paper. This month has been about collaboration, as reflected in our comprehensive paper, where we solidified our claims and further discussed our invention.
Transparency and community engagement have been vital for us. Our communications team has played a crucial role in documenting our research journey. We’ve captured countless photos and videos commemorating each step and milestone. We’ve maintained regular contact with our teachers and professors, who have provided invaluable support and guidance. Their encouragement has been instrumental in keeping us motivated and tracking our progress.
We also want to give our technical and sustainability teams enormous kudos for their fantastic work throughout the year, especially these past few weeks. They’ve collaborated and spent several late nights ensuring our invention meets all its promises and is perfect in every detail. Words cannot express how grateful we all are for their hard work! Our finance team has also been nothing short of exceptional, constantly working to keep us within budget and securing as much funding as possible. We’d also like to thank our team captain, Sophie, who has worked tirelessly to ensure we are fully prepared for EurekaFest, serving as the backbone of our team. All of us have worked hard together and created our dream team!
This year has been incredible, and we have all loved working together. We cannot thank our mentor, Ms. Lee, enough for everything she has done for our team. Her positive energy, fervor, and willingness to help us every step of the way have been invaluable.
We want to thank everyone for their support and help as we come to a close. We cannot believe this chapter is ending, but we are excited to continue spreading our mission and working hard to support our cause. We cannot wait to unveil our invention and are ready to keep working hard and, most importantly, together.
Thank you to everyone who has followed and supported us through each step. We've grown together as a team and cannot wait to show you all our work. We’re eager to make a genuine difference in the world and help our community and, hopefully, our nation in the fight against climate change! Stay tuned to our social media and other platforms to see our EurekaFest journey!
