Automated 3D printing for the classroom
Undergraduate Team Winner

The MIT team of Christopher Haid, Mateo Pena Doll, AJ Perez, and Forrest Pieper share a life-long passion for adventure, electronics, and robotics. They have formed a company, New Valence Robotics, to continue to pursue these passions.

The four MIT engineering students are applying their life passion to help students experience science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics in a new way with their invention of a 3D printer built for the classroom. The team has worked with Citizen Schools since the fall of 2013 to teach 3D printing and design to middle school students.
