DK English Invention Essay Winners Winter 2023!

Announcing the Winners of the 2nd Lemelson-MIT and DK English School Invention Writing Contest
The second iteration of the Lemelson-MIT and DK English School Invention Writing Contest for 3rd through 12th grade students. Out of the many entries, we selected 17 winners. We are pleased to announce the following winners at the elementary, middle, and high school levels!
Learners were invited to submit a short essay providing an argument in response to one of the following prompts:
1) Write a personal narrative describing how an invention helped you cope with the pandemic or with feelings of isolation during quarantine.
2) Write a personal narrative describing how an invention has played an important role in your life.
3) Write a story about an invention you have created (for fun or to solve a problem).
We received many excellent essays. We are pleased to announce the following winners at the elementary, middle, and high school levels:
