Our team has officially started the building of Iris. We are currently working on getting the basics of wired connections. Firstly, we began to connect our Arduino and any sensor to the main breadboard. Then, we connect the sensors to each other and the Arduino. After that, we connect power throughout the breadboard circuitry and Arduino. In order to figure out that we properly assembled all to components in synchrony, we test out the components in software applications on our laptops. We did this multiple times over to troubleshoot any and all problems that occured throughout the construction. Problems arised from lack of power, faulty wires, incorrect wiring, and much more. However, we eventually got the sensors to work properly through trial and error.
