The last couple of weeks have been crazy for our team as we held our Mid-Grant Technical Review on February 8th, 2018. On Thursday, our team spent the entire day printing program materials, gathering supplies for experimental demonstrations, and preparing our presentation for the night.

The coordinator for the Lemelson-MIT InvenTeam Program, Mr. Tony Perry, visited us at Bayonne High School. As we greeted Mr. Perry, we gave him a brief tour of our school, including our prized Biodome facility, home to hundreds of different animals.

Our program started in the evening and, as our team entered the room, we were delighted to see our community come and show their support. Our team deeply appreciated the support and dedication given by our teachers, family, and friends. Each student and mentor on our team worked diligently to make an amazing program.

Currently, we plan to conduct experimental tests with our Hydro Assay Vehicle in April. As we completed our Mid-Grant Technical Review, the Administrative Team passed the torch to the Engineering Team to complete the building process of the HAV.

Until Next Time,
The Bayonne High School InvenTeam
