The Local Water Authority
Tuesday, June 11th:
Four team members presented the invention background to the local water authority in Adama. After the presentation, the water authority came to the site of the borehole to witness the invention in action. The CAD students turned over the invention to the water authority with plans to collaborate with them to enhance the invention and spread it to rural areas. The visitors and the local community personally saw the invention remediate contaminated water into clean drinking water. This was the team's final day at Melka Olba in which we all said goodbye to the school children and teachers by playing games such as volleyball, soccer, and frisbee.
