Hey everyone! Some local news reporters recently came in on the 19th to interview our team, and to catch a glimpse of all of the amazing progress we’ve been making. Not only did we get to explain our design process and the potential applications of our invention, but were also given the opportunity to showcase a working prototype of our alcohol detection system! While not touch-based (it’s breath-based), the circuit below using a sensor which lights up a red LED bulb in the presence of alcohol. Hopefully, we’ll be able to integrate a touch-based version of our prototype into a steering wheel later this month!
