A team of Mechanical Engineering undergraduates at MIT invented BitDex. BitDex is a fast and accurate optical identification system for drill bits that saves machine shops thousands of dollars annually in reduced organization time and fewer machining errors. Team members include Chu, Kaitlyn Bailey, Eric Crespo, Emily Dunne, Katherine Evans, Isaac Fenta, Austin Gutierrez, Bridget Hunter-Jones, Christopher Kelly, Immanuel Madukauwa- David, Guillermo Mirandes, Krista Nordin, Chistiana Rosales, Joshua Sibblies, Katarina Struckmann, Shaka Thornhill, and Juliana Wu.
