Graduate Finalist

Nigel Reuel is a PhD candidate in Chemical Engineering at MIT. Protein-based therapies have revolutionized the way many diseases are treated, such as cancer and autoimmune disorders, but are incredibly hard to produce successfully.  He invented tiny sensors that probe critical quality attributes of protein based drugs (antibodies) to improve drug development and control production to create a safer and more efficacious drug.
