We have been meeting during the week, and continue to fundraise for EurekaFest. Ms. Slate was kind enough to donate to us. Thank you! We are still developing our prototype and looking forward to attending EurekaFest. We are considering creating key chains to sell to fundraise as well. 3-D modeling of the hand on Solid Works helps us to 3-D print parts. We are experimenting with a linear actuator to stimulate the movement of the thumb. This has been the hardest part of our project, along with creating the adduction/abduction movement of the fingers. We are working with linear actuators to create the abduction/adduction movement. They work by pulling or pushing the end covering the knuckles, creating movement down the finger.
